  • Open workshop with input from the participants regarding topics covered

    • Two topics proposed: use of Advanced Oredring and Logistics plans

 

Summary

  • In room walkthrough on whiteboard explaining how Advanced Ordering can be used can be used

  • Logistics plans:

    • The first planned BIS’es that will be implemented based upon BEAst request for extended use:

      • Advanced Despatch Advice

      • Despatch Advice Response

      • Weight Statement

    • The next wave of BIS’es that we hope to get implemented within the Logistics Domain

      • Transport Booking Request

      • Transport Planning Result (result of a booking)

      • Transport Event

      • Waybill

    • Work group will be open for all OpenPeppol members

 

  • Open brain storming of other topics that might be relevant for end users

    • Look into the possibility to include “Customs declaration” in the Logistics area

    • Seek alignment with the eCMR initiatives and similar to see of the planned Logistics “Waybill” might into the eCMR initiative in Europe

    • Will the Logistics initiative lead to more effort/higher requirements for the access points in terms of delivery of the messages, response time, SLA and support?

    • Peppol Network: Seek the need for “fast track” delivery vs “ordinary” delivery of messages (Orders etc where time might be an issue

    • “End to end encryption – is there a real requirement / use case for the End Users?

    • For specific projects: create a “Need list" (similar to a reduced catalogue content with a lifespan only for a project. Similar to EDIFACT “DELFOR”  (delivery forecast). A potential BIS for the Postaward.

    • “Proof of delivery” for SME’s – will this be covered by Logistics? Incoterms will decide who is responsible.
