The eDEC Change Management Board has approved a new version of the Peppol SMP Specification. The approval process requires a review by members. The Peppol SMP specification v1.3.0 is an update to v1.2.0 of said document and is published for review by OpenPeppol members.
It replaces the usage of SHA-1 in signatures with the usage of SHA-256 instead, which increases the level of security.
