The Change Management Board has approved a new version of the Peppol Policy for use of Identifiers. The approval process requires a review by members. The Peppol Policy for use of Identifiers 4.2.0 is an update to v4.1.0 of said document and is published for review by OpenPeppol members.
It adds support for the new Document Type Identifier scheme “peppol-doctype-wildcard” with the goal to reduce the number of SMP registrations necessary to support a lot of similar “more narrow” specifications.
The main changes have been done in chapter 5 (“Policies on Identifying Document Types supported by Peppol“) so we are asking you to focus your comments on said chapter. The other changes are mainly editorial changes or follow-up changes from chapter 5 changes.
Announcement: On May 16th 2023, from 9:00 to 11:00 CET eDEC and POAC are providing a joint Webinar where we go through all the relevant changes in detail and also elaborate on the forseen changes from a PINT perspective.
