The Peppol Interoperability Framework comes into full force on 1 July 2022, wen the new Peppol Agreements take efect.

A. Background
The agreement revision process originated from the new Statutes approved by GA10 in 2018 and went through a number of phases. As final phase the Agreements Revision Task Force was established:
The Agreements Revision Task Force (ARTF) was established in December 2020 with a mandate by the Managing Committee to produce a new set of deliverables - Agreements, Internal Regulations and Operational Procedures.
The documents produced by the ARTF were subject to an open review during May-June 2021 and final versions were made available in September 2021.
Formal approval of the new Agreements took place in October 2021 and Internal Regulations in November 2021. Operational Procedures and other supporting documents were approved in February 2022.
B. Aproved documents
B1. The Peppol Agreements
The revised Peppol Authority Agreement and Peppol Service Provider Agreements were formally approved for implementation through a vote amongst the Peppol Authorities in October 2021, according to the provisions of the then valid Peppol Transport Infrastructure Agreement (TIA) annex 6.
The revised set of Peppol Agreement documents takes effect on 1 July 2022.
B2. Internal Regulations on the Use of the Peppol Network
The internal regulations on the Use of the Peppol Network were approved for implementation by the Managing Committee in November 16, 2021.
The policies contained in the IR are in effect as of 16 November 2021, except for three policies. The following policies are in effect as of 1 July 2022:

The Data Usage and Reporting Policy is suspended until further notice.
B3. Peppol Authority Specific Requirements (PASR)
11 Peppol Authorities have drafted specific requirements for their jurisdiction. When providing Peppol services in that jurisdiction these specific requirements apply on top of the general Peppol requirements. The PASR were approved by the OpenPeppol Managing Committee in its MC meeting on 28.06.2022
B4.Operational Procedures
A number of operating procedures has been developed to expand on the legal obligations assumed through the Peppol agreements and the rules and provisions in the OpenPeppol Internal Regulations for the use of the Peppol Network.
The Operational Procedures were approved by the OpenPeppol Managing Committee in its MC161 meeting on 15.02.2022 as part of the Peppol Interoperability Framework.
