The internal regulations on the initial version of the OpenPeppol Internal Regulations Part II - Use of the Peppol Network were first was approved for implementation by the Managing Committee on 16 November 2021 (v1.0).

Since then, experience gained through the implementation of the Policies led to the realization that certain provisions could not be applied as of 1 July 2022, as previously foreseen. This led to the revision of the Internal Regulations after discussions and approval at the APP CMB and final decision by the Managing Committee.

The latest version of the internal regulations on the Use of the Peppol Network includes the following changes:

Based on RFCs received, a revised version was provided for member review during the summer of 2023. Having considered all comments received, the APP CMB provided an updated document for approval by the MC. The MC approved the version of the OpenPeppol Internal Regulations Part II - Use of the Peppol Network (version 2.0.0) on November 29, 2023. This version introduce changes to the following policies:

• Change Management Policy

• Data Collection, Reporting and Usage Policy

• PA Specific Requirements

• Removal of the Semantic versioning Annex

Details on changes implemented can be found in the supporting Release Notes.

As per the approved Migration Plan, version 2.0.0 takes effect on the date of publication.
